Best Skydive - Tripadvisor Review For Skydive Auckland

"Skydive; pure joy! YOLO! For the first 5 seconds I had a feeling which I never felt before, I can’t describe it. To say, it is like driving your car over a small hill, that feeling times million! It is euphoria! You don’t realize what is happening... my instructor Aaron was so cool! you’re falling down as a rock with the speed of 200 kilometers per hour, the best adrenaline rush I had in my life so far. Thank you Skydive Auckland and Aaron!"

Thanks to Doruk for leaving this awesome review. Loving his description of the feeling of freefall. Thanks to everyone who provides us with recommendations, reviews and feedback so that we can continue to stay at number 1 of 181 Tours in Auckland on TripAdvisor.

New Zealand's Highest Skydive - 20,002ft!
New Zealand's Highest Skydive - 20,002ft!

If you want the ultimate skydiving experience then this jump is for you! Our 20,002ft skydive is the highest altitude in the whole of New Zealand, and in the Southern Hemisphere, and is a must-do if you want to skydive in New Zealand. Our 20,002ft skydive is out of this world with freefall for 85+ insane seconds reaching a speed of 200km/hr.

Civil Aviation rules limit tandem skydiving in New Zealand to a maximum exit altitude of 20,000ft, but with Skydive Auckland's landing area being 2 feet below sea level, they are officially the highest, completing skydives from 20,0002ft and this height cannot be beaten. This means that Skydive Auckland does officially have the HIGHEST skydive in the whole of New Zealand with more freefall time than any other skydive in the country.

Re-define freedom and escape reality with the highest skydive in the New Zealand at 20,000ft (or 20,0002ft above sea level). As well as the east and west coasts of NZ, from 20,000ft on a clear day you can see Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island, Mt Ruapehu and even Mt Taranaki! Enjoy the serenity of a scenic parachute ride for approximately 5 minutes with spectacular views as you float gently back to the ground.

The first 20,000ft [6096 metres] tandem skydive ever to take place in New Zealand happened on Friday 31st October at Skydive Auckland in Parakai, West Auckland.

Jump For Charity At Skydive Auckland

We had an awesome day on Saturday 16th June, with SPCA returning for 'Jump To The Rescue 2018'. Over $102,000 was raised, and with an original target of $60,000, it has been an incredible success. 118 people signed up to fundraise for this charity jump. Since last year's event at Skydive Auckland, regional SPCA branches had merged to become SPCA New Zealand, so the event itself went nationwide and a choice of three dropzone locations around the country were offered to those fundraisers who successfully raised the target $880, to get their free skydive and 'Jump To The Rescue' from 13,000ft.

We had a great sunny day in Auckland with the 23 animal lovers that visited on Saturday to skydive, not to mention the supporting rabbits and dogs that come out to visit! Well done guys.
